The Gun Belt Kit was assembled using U.S. Marine Corps issued components.  Some components are from the standard issue for Infantry Units, while other are from specialized units such as Reconnaissance Units.  All components are in Coyote Brown non-reflective, near-infrared complain materials constructed to MIL Standards, to include ballistic stitching and thread.  The kit consists of six pieces of gear.  The U.S. Marine Corps Sub-Belt, also referred to as War Belt or Gun Belt, is used as the platform for this kit.  The belt is from U.S> Marine Corps’ Family of Improved Load Bearing Equipment.  The Sub-Belt is padded and contains three rows of PALS (MOLLE) webbing for minimum of 75 % of the length of the belt.  The low profile suspenders support the weight of the belt.  The suspenders can be removed if not desired. The belt is fully usable and can be integrated with other components, such as plate carriers and backpacks, without causing interference.  Roll-Up Dump Pouch and Pistol Pouches are from the U.S. Marine Corps’ Full Spectrum Battle Equipment II, issued to specialized units within the U.S. Marine Corps, such as Reconnaissance Units and Security Forces.  The Pistol Pouches contain a Kyndex insert and sized for a 9 mm, double stack, pistol magazine.  They also include a securing flap that flips back, minimizing motions required to retrieve the magazine, thus improving reloading time.  The Dump Pouch is a roll-up dump pouch that features a formed opening for easy access and drawstring closure.  The Rifle Pouches are from the Family of Improved Load Bering Equipment.  They are designed as speed reload pouch that feature a leather insert for passive retention, while a flip back style flap provides additional positive retention when needed.  The pouch covers 2/3 of the 30 round magazines.  All the components of the kit are PALS (MOLLE) compatible, making it ideal for custom placement based on the needs of the user.
